Organizations and people working in Central America and the Caribbean who share the self-sufficiency approach, and who need a partner rather than a funder.
Skills
Agronomy, water systems, vocational training, cooperative governance. The projects we support are technical before they are charitable.
Funding for a defined program
We would rather discuss the funding of a specific program, with a scope and a horizon, than collect general donations against no active project.

Giving
ForBetterCommunity USA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by U.S. federal law, and we issue a written acknowledgment for every gift.
Online giving is not open at the moment. To make a contribution, contact us and we will provide the details and the acknowledgment your records require.
If you are a Canadian donor, note thatForBetterCommunity Canadais a distinct organization with its own status, and giving to the American entity does not produce a Canadian receipt.
